Item Description

You are looking at part of the World Famous ShoeZeum In 1987 Nike created the first Cross Training shoe, the Air Trainer 1. They were designed by Tinker Hatfield and were the first shoes made for multiple sports. Tinker conceived of the Cross Trainer when he was at the gym and he noticed people were lugging around several pairs of shoes to run, weight train, play basketball, and so on. He thought that was silly and inconvenient, so he created one shoe that could be worn for multiple sports. The original Cross Trainer was White, Black, Grey, and Chlorophyll Green. It featured a velcro strap for added support. It was worn on the Tennis Court by John McEnroe. The shoes in this listing are an updated version of the original Air Trainer 1. They feature flywire uppers, 360 degrees of air, and Nike plus technology. They were on display in the Tennis and Cross Training section of the ShoeZeum. The shoes include a Certificate of Authenticity stating that they were a part of the ShoeZeum. This listing is for one pair of Air Max TRs. No toys or props or other shoes are included in this listing.
